PRE-SCHOOL BOOKS

My first book for younger children, Somewhere Out There, was published in 1998 by Hutchinson Books/Random House (ISBN: 0 09 176638 9). It’s about a boy called Hamish who finds a ball in his garden and who decides to kick it back to the faraway space-place it’s come from. The gorgeous illustrations were provided by Liz Pyle.

 

My second book, The Big Bad Rumour - or Big Bad Rumor as the American edition is called! - was published in 2000 - also by Hutchinson/Random House (ISBN 0 09 176954 X). Illustrated by Jacqueline East, it’s about a goggle-eyed goose who starts an increasingly far-fetched rumour. Or rumor if you’re reading this in the US.
